DOVER - Drawings for the Class B Sectional Tournament at Memorial Hall Thursday, Friday and Saturday (March 3rd, 4th, and 5th) in which 5 Tuscarawas County teams will joust for Sectional honors with 4 other teams from Holmes and Carroll counties...with drawings to be held at 7PM tomorrow night, The announcement was made today by D.C. Lemmon, Dover High School Principal and Tournament Manager.
Tuscarawas teams entered are:
Baltic Eagles
Dennison Railroaders
Dover St. Joseph Ramblers
Strasburg Tigers
Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates
Carroll County Team:
Magnolia Panthers
Holmes County teams entered are:
Millersburg Knights
Clark
Berlin Hawks
Schedule of the tournament, at which only 2 of the 9 teams will qualify for the District Tournment at Dennison on March 10th, 11th and 12th, includes 3 games on Thursday night and 2 each on Friday and Saturday.
Thursday games will be at 7,8 and 9PM, while Friday games will be at 7 and 8PM, Saturday's games will be at 8:30 and 9:30PM with special preliminaary after 7:30PM between the Dover High School Reserves and the Intra-Mural All-Stars.
Ralph Sundheimer of Walnut Creek and Ray (Sureshot) Scherer Columbus, formerly of Coshocton will officiate.
