35 - Midvale Downs Dundee 14-11 (3-1-35)
DOVER - The Midvale Blue Devils (2-1) (12-8) defeated the Dundee Bulldogs (1-2) (10-14) 14-11, staving off a last period rally to turn the trick during their Consolation Tournament contest. While the Bulldogs waited until the 4th period to make its bid for a crack at the Baltic Eagles, the Blue Devils started early for a shot at a semi-final game. The result was a nip-and-tuck battle between the 2 clubs at the start until Dundee found itself and came within 3 points of Midvale late in the 4th and the Blue Devils began protecting a 3-point lead. The Blue Devils led the way the entire game. In the 1st quarter the scoreboard read 2-1, the 2nd quarter 11-3 and the 3rd quarter 12-4. The game appeared to be wrapped up until the Bulldogs came within 3 points.
Midvale was led by forward Frank Cox and center Jack Walker who had 5 points each on 2 field goals and a free throw apiece. Senior 5-10 guard Ott Haager led Dundee with 6 points (1 field goal and 4 free throws.
