35 - Class Racks Up 22...Bolivar Wallops Millersburg 47-31 (3-9-35)










DOVER - Led by 6-3 Junior center Paul Class, who scored 22 points (9 field goals and 4 free throws), the Bolivar Cardinals (5-1) romped to an easy victory over the Millersburg Knights by 16 points, 47-31.  There was no comparison in strength of the 2 teams.  The Cardinals clicked from the outset, scoring 16 points in the 1st quarter, while the Knights chalked up four.  At the end of the 2nd quarter the score stood at 27-12.  In the 3rd quarter the Cardinals were leading 34-16.

Harold Turvey, Bolivar guard, scored 10 points (4 field goals and 2 free tosses) and forward Ward Kreis was next in line with 6 points (2 field goals ad 2 foul tosses).  For Millersburg, Weaver was high with 11 points (3 field goals and 5 free throws).
