DOVER - The Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates (4-1) (17-9) avenged the Midvale Blue Devils (2-2) (10-7) defeat in the semi-final round of the Consolation Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Pirates had little trouble rolling up 32 points to Midvale's 14. With Junior forward Prince Harmon at the driver's seat of the Sugarcreek-Shanesville scoring machine...with 14 points (7 field goals)...the Pirates sailed through without a hindrance. Midvale...which eliminated Sugarcreek from the regular round a week ago by a 33-24 count...was helpless before the revengeful onslaught. Senior guard Dean "Squirt" Norris, long shot artist, tallied 8 points (3 field goals and 2 free throws). Midvale forward Frank Cox was high for the losers with 6 points (3 field goals).
