37 - Midvale Winds Up State Practice

COLUMBUS - The Midvale Blue Devils (8-1) (24-3) completed their practice for their openng tilt against the South Amherst Falcons at the Ohio State University Gymnaisum at 6PM tomorrow night.  The Blue Devils and their Head Coach M.R. Helwig will participate in a big pep rally at the Midvale High School this afternoon and will go to Columbus tomorrow by train, leaving Dennison at 7:34PM.

Coach Helwig today developed a worry about Freshman Center Dick Belknap, who was injured in practice before the final District game at Dennison last Saturday.  Belknap was out of school yesterday and it is uncertain whether he will be ready for the South Amherst game.

Both Dover and Midvale stand 19th in their respective classes entered in the tournament from the point of games won and lost.  Enon and Ontario of the Class B Division have unblemished records.  Midvale; however, is 2nd in the list from the number of points it has tallied against its opponents over the season's play.  The Blue Devils tallied a total of 1,117.  Canal Fulton leads the list with 1,194.

Following is the list of teams entered, games won and lost by the teams:
