44 - Dundee Breezes Past Mineral City 36-24 (2-19-44)
DOVER - The Dundee Bulldogs (1-1) (17-28) triumphed over the Mineral City Tigers (0-2) (9-30) 36-24 in easy stages leading the entire route after nullifying a 3-0 edge taken by the Tigers at the start of the game. The Bulldogs led 12-5 in the 1st quarter of play, 24-8 in the 2nd quarter and after intermission continued their assult leading 27-16 at the end of the 3rd stanza.
Klein, a forward, paced the victors with 15 points (6 field goals and 3 free throws). His teammate guard Fankhauser added another 10 points, while forward Smith dropped in 9 points. Smith, a guard, topped Mineral City with 9 points (4 field goals and a free throw).
