TUSCARAWAS COUNTY BASKETBALL LEAGUE (1943-44)

For the 2nd time in a row the Tuscarawas County Class B High School Basketball League, organized more than a quarter of a century ago (1923), has suspended operations due to the continuation of war-time restrictions on transportation of athletic teams.  What is known as far as the records of teams that did play is that Gnaden was 10-10 and the Sugarcreek-Shanesville team has been unbeaten with a record of 24-0.
