41 - Bolivar Blasts Baltic 38-21 (2-27-41)

Bolivar Cardinals Sophomore Guard Warren Klink copped game honors hitting the nets for 14 points (6 field goals and 2 free throws) in leading the Bulldogs to a 38-21 drubbing of the Baltic Eagles.  Klink has a total of 21 points in 3 tournament games for an average of 7 points per game.

DOVER - The Bolivar Cardinals (2-1) (27-21), who played listless ball throughout their first 2 tournament engagements, went much the same for the first 3 quarters of their game "loose" with a 20-point splurge in the final stanza to hand the Baltic Eagles (1-2) (17-25) a 38-21 loss and a trip to the showers.

The Cardinals were behind 6-4 at the 1st period of play, taking a 12-10 lead at halftime and ending the 3rd stanza at 18-15.  With the game on the line Bolivar ripped the cords for 20 points in the last and final quarter, while their defense held the Eagles to just 6 markers.

Sophomore sensation at Baltic, guard Warren Klink, hit his stride to score 14 points, while teammate center Bud Ross came through with 8 more points.  Junior guard Bill Lint scored 9 points to lead Baltic.
