33 - Strasburg Gets By Bolivar 32-26 (2-25-33)

DOVER - The Strasburg Tigers (2-0) (24-5) in the semi-final triumph over the Bolivar Cardinals (1-1) (12-9), by a score of 32-24, was unimpressive and its play anything but indicative of the latent power brought into play against the finalists of the lower bracket.

The Cardinals took the lead in the opening period, which ended 10-7, but lost it as the half ended with the Champions 2 points ahead on a count of 15-13.  Bolivar spurted through the 3rd period and commanded a 3-point edge with the score 23-20 as the final period started.  Forward Wolf of the Cardinals, led the scoring honors with 12 points on 4 baskets and 4 foul shots.  Junior forward John "Johnny" Studer of the Tigers, was 2nd with 11 points, 5 field goals and 1 free throw.
