40 - High Powered Midvale Slaughters Dundee 50-22 (2-17-40)

Midvale Blue Devils' #13 Forward Frank Morrison led the Blue Devil charge by scoring 12 points (6 field goals) to victory over the Dundee Bulldogs 50-22 while claiming game honors.  Morrison is averaging 13.5 markers a game in the tournament.


DOVER - The Midvale Blue Devils (2-0) (28-14), averaging 55 points a game, got off to a slow start in its game with the Dundee Bulldogs (0-1) (13-23), leading by only 7-6 at the 1st period, but from then on the Blue Devils were never in danger as they opened up an 11 point drive which gave them an 18-11 lead at the half.  The 3rd period saw the Blue Devils run wild scoring 16 points to take a 34-15 lead, while holding the Bulldogs to just 4 markers.  In the final stanza with Midvale's offense and defense clicking, the Devils scored another 16 points and held the dogs to 7 markers.  After the 1st period, Midvale never let up.

Midvale's Frank Morrison led his team with 12 points, while his teammate #4 guard Warren Leggett popped in 10 markers.  Forward Milton Fruchey led Dundee with 7 points, while #6 forward Pete Peterman followed up with another 6 markers.
