DOVER - The Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates (1-0) (20-12) ran going away against the Stone Creek Panthers (0-1) (1-6) to mark up a 47-17 victory.  Pot-hanging their way to a 29-5 lead in the 1st half, the Pirates coasted through the final half of their game with the Panthers and held a 30 point win at the close of the contest.  Head Coach Earl Sundheimer used his 2nd stringers throughout the 2nd half.  Sugarcreek-Shanesville grabbed an 18-1 lead in the opening period and thereby served notice that a win was just a matter of time.  The score was 38-9 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
