32 - Strasburg Hammers Dundee 33-12 (3-27-32)










DOVER - The Strasburg Tigers (2-0) (21-5) easily dropped the Dundee Bulldogs (1-1) (6-10) on Saturday afternoon, in the 1st of 2 semi-final games, at the Legion Hall facility by 21 points.  The Tigers with substitutes playing nearly 3 quarters, eliminated the Bulldogs by a score of 33-12.  The losers got just 3 field goals.  Strasburg's 2nd team played like a varsity crew and Dundee didn't have a chance all the way.  The Tigers held a reasonably good lead in the 1st quarter at 11-6, with the reserves maintaining the lead at the half 19-7, while increasing the lead to 25-9 at the end of the 3rd period.  Senior guard-center Hrebert Dreher led the Strasburg team with 3 field goals for 6 points, while Dundee was lead in scoring by forward Baker with 2 field goals and 2 foul tosses for 6 markers.  Eight of the 10 players for Strasburg were in the scoring column.
