46 - Linard and Walton Pace B Scorers








Port Washington Purple Riders High Scoring Ace Senior Forward Elmer Linard.


DOVER - The 48 points he has scored in 2 games has put Port Washington's Elmer Linard at the head of the individual scoring race in the County Class B Basketball Tournament which resumes action tonight with a 3-game slate at Memorial Hall.

High average; however, is the property of the Tuscarawas Broncos Senior Center Fred Walton who pelted 31 points through the hoops in his team's lopsided triumph over the Stone Creek Golden Panthers 102-23.

Senior Forward Paul Brown of the Baltic Eagles is 3rd with an averageof 19, scored in one game, while Senior Forward Dave Stevenson of the Midvale Blue Devils has 18 and Guard Bill Weiss of the Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates has 15.
