DOVER - In the 1st Consolation Division contest last night, the Baltic Eagles (1-1) (22-33) (9-9) copped a 40-35 victory over the Dundee Bulldogs (0-2) (19-34). The Bulldogs gave the Eagles a scrap, the stubborn dogs refusing to acknowledge defeat and taking leads of 8-7 in the 1st quarter and 15-14 at halftime. Before Baltic finally got hot in the 3rd period to grab a 28-20 edge which lasted; although, they were outscored again in the final stanza.
Senior forward Paul Brown led the Eagles with 13 points (6 field goals and a free throw), while Senior forward Doren Pepper followed Brown up with 11 points. Guard Paul Kate was high for Dundee with 10 points.
