30 - Bellaire St. Johns Takes Out Midvale 29-22 (3-14-30)









DENNISON - The Midvale Blue Devils (4-2) was knocked out of the Ohio Class B running last night by a fast and clever St. Johns Irish team from Bellaire.  The scoreboard showed the Irish win by 7 points and the Tuscarawas boys were outclassed in the later periods by one of the finest passing attacks of the tournament so far.  St. Johns was led by guard Huckenberry with 3 goals and a foul shot for 7 points followed by forward Williams who dropped in 3 goals for 6 points, while the center O'Brien canned 2 goals and 2 foul tosses for another 6 points.  The leading scorer for the Blue Devils was the center West who swished 5 goals and 2 fouls for a game high of 12 points.
