34 - Eastern Ohio Sectional Tournament








DOVER - The Lakeville Panthers Saturday night won the Holmes County Class B Basketball Championship by defeating Clark 50-22 in the final game of the county tournament.  The winner and runner-up and the Millersburg Knights will take part in the Sectional Tournament at Legion Hall this week in Dover, Ohio.

Coshocton County will be represented by Keene High School, which Saturday night won that county's tournament 20-16 from the West Lafayette Generals and by the Coshocton Sacred Heart Saints.

Carroll County will send the Malvern Green Hornets, county champion and Magnolia, the runner-up.  Malvern copped the county title by a 26-25 score on Saturday night.

Jefferson and Harrison counties will send 3 teams each to the joust.

Tuscarawas County will be represented by the Strasburg Tigers, Dundee Bulldogs and Mineral City Tigers of the Class B League and the Dover St. Joseph Ramblers and Dennison Railroaders.
