31 - Dundee Eliminates Baltic 33-22 (2-27-12)

DOVER - Until the 4th quarter the Baltic Eagles (0-1) (2-6) pressed the Dundee Bulldogs (1-0) (5-8) hard in the annual county cage tournament.  Then center Gardner and forward Bradley broke loose and Dundee captured their win by 11 points.  Gardner tallied 16 points, most of them under the basket.  Bradley accounted for 10 markers.  Forward Baker's floor play was another feature of the Bulldog attack.

The winners used a deliberate offense and seldom made a bad pass.  The game; however, was rather slow and was made interesting by Baltic's fighting efforts to catch up.  Forward Owen Scheetz of Baltic showed coolness and abililty by tossing in 6 consecutive foul tosses and led his team in scoring with 10 total points.  Dundee led 13-2 in the 1st quarter, 15-11 at the half and 22-17 in the 3rd period.
