DOVER - The Midvale Blue Devils (1-0) (15-9) Saturday afternoon's 40-24 victory over the Gnadenhutten Indians (0-1) (14-14) was just a repeat of the same stuff the Blue Devils have been serving opponets all season...too much outright class and flashy guard Frank Baumholtz. The latter in this instance dumped in 9 field goals through the hoop and connected with 4 free throws for a total of 22 points.
Backed with Baumholtz's leadership the Blue Devils took immediate command of the situation and retained it throughout. They led 9-7 at the 1st stop, 20-13 by halftime and 25-19 at the end of the 3rd period. The Kohl brothers, Ed and Harold, both Seniors, hit the hoops for 10 and 7 points (5 field goals and 3 field goals and a free throw) for the Indians.
