36 - 14th Annual Tuscarawas County Class B Basketball Tournament







DOVER - The opening of the 14th Annual County Class B Basketball Tournament, which will qualify 3 teams for the Sectional jousts 2 weeks later will begin play on Friday night (2-21-36).  The tourney will open at Legion Hall and consist of a 4 game schedule.

FRIDAY 2-21-36

Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates vs Stone Creek Panthers 7PM
Dundee Bulldogs vs Port Washington Purple Riders 8PM
Tuscarawas Broncos vs Mineral City Tigers 9PM
Bolivar Cardinals vs Baltic Eagles 10PM

On Saturday the tournament swings into action in the afternoon with one Regular tourney contest and 3 Consolation Division games on the program.

Gnadenhutten Indians vs Midvale Blue Devils 1PM
Loser Sugarcreek-Stone Creek vs Loser Dundee-Port Washington 2PM (C)
Loser Tuscarawas-Mineral City vs Loser Bolivar-Baltic 3PM (C)
Winners of the 2 Consolation games 4PM

H.P. Lohrman, Strasburg School Superintendent, is Manager of the Tournament and Ralph Sundheimer of near Sugarcreek and Jess Dempster of Uhrichsville will do the officiating.
