Twelve teams are entered and 4 games are scheduled for tonight's play, following each other at hourly intervals.  The Bolivar Cardinals and Midvale Blue Devils meet in the 1st game.  After it, the Gnadenhutten Indians plays the Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates, the Port Washington Purple Riders plays the New Cumberland Trojans and the Strasburg Tigers take on the Tuscarawas Broncos in the order named.  Tomorrows play starts at 1:30PM and continues through the afternoon and evening with the winners and losers of tonight's games playing in the regular and Consolation divisions of the schedule.

Referee Gross will work the regular tournament, while Kenny Mathias, an official of the Class B League, works the Consolation.  The winner and runner-up of the regular meeting and the winner of the Consolation division will qualify for the Sectional Class B Tournament.  Trophies for the winners and pictures of the teams competing in the County Class B League Tournament, which opens at Legion Hall tonight at 7PM, are on display in the show window of Ress Brothers Cigar Store on Factory Street.

Strasburg, 4 straight times winner of the County League Championship and the Sugarcreek-Shanesville Pirates, prominent as a runner-up to the Tigers, are favored to be 2 of 3 successful teams.  One of them; however, will be forced to reach the Sectional meeting through the Consolation end as a result of their meeting in the semi-finals in event neither is beaten until that time.
