DOVER - The Baltic Eagles (1-0) (1-1) crushed the New Cumberland Trojans (0-1) (0-1) in the 1st of 2 games of the Tuscarawas County Class B Basketball Tournament in the American Legion gymnasium on Saturday morning. The Baltic team was a decided winner over the New Cumberland team as the score clearly shows. Forwards Richardson and Messerly with 18 and 16 points respectively, were the principal scorers for Baltic. Closing out the Eagles scoring were Maurer with 3 and Burkey and Alleshouss had 2 points each. Forward J. Scott and center McCartney were the best for New Cumberland. Forward W. Scott followed that up with a field goal and 2 foul shots for 4 points.
