33 - Baltic Ejects Gnaden 48-25 (2-24-33)









DOVER - The Baltic Eagles (2-0) (4-7) tightened up a loose offensive and ironed out several faults of the night before to steam-roll the Gnadenhutten Indians (1-1) (13-9) under a 48-25 score in last night's tournament play.  Although they started on the short end of the score and trailed 8-5 at the close of the 1st quarter, the Eagles spurted to a 6-point lead in the 2nd period and added to it consistently in the last half.

Baltic was ahead 20-14 at halftime and 37-16 at the 3rd quarter post.  Sophomore guard Paul Levengood and Senior forward Harold Huprich set the pace for the winners with 16 and 12 points, respectively.  Both had 6 buckets, while Levengood sunk an additional 4 free throws.  Senior elusive forward Bob Kennedy of the Indians, took honors for his team with 8 points collected on 3 baskets and 2 foul shots.
